Overview

Our curriculum includes an intensive approach to the basic subjects. Reading is taught phonetically and classics are used as literature textbooks. The teaching of English and grammar is based upon established traditional rules. The mathematics curriculum combines both traditional and modern techniques.

The subject areas include: Language Arts (poetry memorization and an emphasis on writing), Mathematics, History, Geography, Music, Art, Drama, Physical Education, Science, French, and Computers.

In the middle and upper grades, subjects are taught on departmentalized basis, utilizing the skills and services of a number of specialists.
