Veterans Day at Carden
Students and teachers honored veterans with a special assembly on the morning of November 10. After the flag salute, Mr. Cone and Mr. Browning spoke briefly about the importance of this recognition of veterans, and of all that veterans have done and continue to do for America. Then the 2nd, 5th and 6th grade classes performed a recitation of "Where Have All the Flowers Gone", followed by a beautiful recording of Taps.
