At the beginning of our trip, we flew in to Chicago and waited there for our next plane to Montreal. Once we were in Montreal , we looked around for some food places, but it was late and most of us weren't hungry. We stayed at the Gouverneur Hotel that night and the next day we went to a different hotel in Quebec City.
My favorite day was the day when we went dancing on the boat on the St. Lawrence River. It was really fun because I got to dance with a girl named Katie and I got her e-mail; and Jon got a date with another girl. The funny part of that day was when Jon got really sad because he couldn't see her again. I did see Katie again the next day, at the church.
Another fun day was the day before we had to leave. We went to a French high school and wrote paragraphs in French while the other kids from the high school had to write in English. After we had finished writing the paragraphs in French, a few of the kids stood up and gave their speeches. Once that was done, everybody exchanged e-mails.
Richard was our tour guide during the whole trip and he was great. He explained everything that we saw down to the smallest detail. He drove us everywhere as well. Richard was the best tour guide I can remember.
Oscar is Madame Caro's husband. He told us lots of funny jokes like "Look at all the dead birds flying by us!" He also knew lots of history about Quebec.
