CANADA TRIP

By Chris, 8th Grade

The Quebec trip was the most fun that I have had all school year. The plane ride was very bad. It took 5 hours to travel to our first airport, then took 2 hours to Quebec. We saw alot of great sites in the cool country of Canada. We saw the Olympic Stadium while we were there; it goes up 600 feet. While I was there I bought many different things, magazines, sweaters, and a tiger who I named "Bear". We also went on a cruise on the Saint Laurance River. We danced until the sun went down and then some. It was a great experenece. We also went to the Sugar Shack. We danced to folk music and we played old instruments. We also saw a lot of churches that looked like castles. There were many churches. Inside the churches they looked like palaces.

My favorite part of this trip was when we went to the Old Quebec City and saw all of the little shops and I spent almost all of my money. The people were not very nice. I think it is because we were in their country and that they did not like us. My other favorite part was when we went to the high school and met with French speaking students that were trying to speak English. We had to write a paragraph on what our schools had in common. We got their e-mails so that we could keep in touch. We also took a trip around the school to see how big it is. It was huge! There was almost 930 people in their school. They were very nice to me. They did not know much English. I had a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been to another Country.
