We went to Monterey for four days and it was a blast. We went to the tide pools, Monterey Bay Aquarium, bike riding, a sports bar, snorkeling, and on a ten mile morning walk. When we got to Monterey on the first day we went to our hotel and got to get used to it. We went to the tide pools and got to see anemone, hermit crabs, and star fish. We got back to the hotel and went to eat at our choice of either a Mexican restaurant or a Chinese restaurant. When we got back to the hotel, we went swimming.
The second day, we went to the Aquarium. We went to explore around and do some research about the animals. We had to get answers for our research book. We saw a show with tuna, pacific sun fish, sharks, hammerhead sharks, Califorina barracudas, and blue-tipped fish. When we left, we got to rest for one hour; then we walked to a sports bar. We watched the Kings and we played pool. We went back to the hotel at 9:30 at night.
The third day we went to Cannery Row to pick up the bikes we had arranged at Bay Bikes, and one hour later we lost Christian, Jarett, and his dad. We found them two hours later on Light House Avenue. After they got to the bike shop we went to Bubba Gump's. We went back to Cannery Row, where there was a snorkel shop were we put on diving suits and snorkel goggles. We got to swim in the ocean and we saw star fish, anenome, and kelp. We got to swim right next to the kelp forest and Logan took pictures of the kelp forest. When we got back we had a one hour break and then we got to go to the movies and see R.V., the Movie.
My favorite part was the snorkeling, when we got to see the kelp forest and see the animals.
